Luxury Academy teaches the psychology of working with luxury clients. What clients want, what they don’t say, how status, trust, and reassurance shape every interaction, and what’s expected of you when you operate in their world.

The training is grounded in established behavioural science: cognitive, social, and clinical psychology applied to luxury and HNW client contexts.

It doesn’t rely on NLP, pop psychology, or the popular frameworks that have spread through luxury training without much evidence behind them.

There are three courses: an entry point and two specialisations.

They’re self-paced, online, and CPD-certified, and the certificate goes on your CV once you’ve passed the final exam.

The Foundations
of Luxury

For: anyone new to luxury, or moving into it from a mainstream sector.

What it does: gives you the vocabulary, and behavioural awareness to operate confidently in luxury settings.

Covers what defines luxury, who the luxury client is, how to read and respond to them, and what a credible luxury professional looks and sounds like.

The starting point for anyone who’s recently joined a luxury brand or is moving across into the sector, and needs the foundations before the specialism.

Working with
High-Net-Worth Clients

For: people already in luxury who work directly with clients in service or relationship roles.

What it does: teaches the psychology of working directly with HNW clients.

Covers long-term relationship dynamics, how trust forms, emotional regulation under pressure, reading signals clients don’t put into words, and what makes clients return.

For those who have the luxury basics in place and want the next layer of skill in how those relationships actually hold up over time.

Selling to
High-Net-Worth Clients

For: people in revenue-generating sales roles across the luxury sector.

What it does: applies behavioural science to the specific work of luxury sales.

Covers HNW buying psychology, what creates desire, how trust converts into sales, and the language that distinguishes a luxury sales conversation.

For those whose role carries a revenue number and who want the psychology behind why luxury clients buy, with the behavioural detail you don’t get from generic sales training.

How the training works

The courses are 100% online and self-paced.

There are no live classes and no scheduled sessions. You log in and work through them on your own time.

Each course is CPD-certified by The CPD Certification Service, which means the content has been independently assessed against recognised professional development standards. The certificate is verifiable, sits on your CV, and counts towards CPD hours wherever those are recognised.

You get six months access from purchase, with no completion deadline within that window. Each course finishes with a 50-question exam. 80% pass mark, three attempts. Pass it and you receive the certificate.

About the training

Luxury Academy works exclusively with the luxury sector.

The courses are written and delivered by Paul Russell, a consumer behaviour psychologist whose work focuses on HNW and luxury client behaviour. 

The content sits within established psychology rather than the soft-skills version of luxury training that dominates the category.
